A fresh brand identity and innovative online tool for locating allergy-safe eateries around the country.

The Mechanism designed SafeFARE.org exclusively for Food Allergy Research & Education (FARE), who works on behalf of the 15 million Americans with food allergies, including all those at risk for life-threatening anaphylaxis. The project included the design of branding elements for the website and the program itself (including icons and badges to be used by participating restaurants) in addition to the design of the back-end of the website. At the core of the website is a complex search application that allows users to find allergy aware restaurants based on any combination of 9 criteria with 362,880 possible combinations of search queries.
