Background
The Upwelling is a Queens-based rock trio influenced by Pink Floyd, The Police, Depeche Mode, and Spiritualized. They approached theMechanism with a need to create a poster for a show at Irving Plaza that resonated with their growing audience.
Solution
After theMechanism did a photo shoot with The Upwelling, we utilized one of the photographs to create an illustration and produce a poster in the style of modern rock poster design.
