Background
theMechanism met with Millie Stanisic, partner with Em & Me productions through a friend of the firm. As a result, theMechanism was charged with building a brand for the independent horror film Satan’s Playground.
Solution
From the online experience to movie posters and postcards, theMechanism attacked every angle of the project, building a cohesive visual presence for the film long before it was finished. The result was a branded experience that delved into the legend of the mysterious Jersey Devil and put a truly “Hollywood” face on a film that was produced on an “Independen” budget.
Also notable is the fact that theMechanism designed the poster for the film long before seeing a rough cut of the film. Our inspiration was drawn from sitting down with the director and production company to ascertain the intended vision for the project. We presented ourselves as a partner in the project and made certain that our vision and approach worked with the creative team working on titling, filming and producing the final product.
