Jin started his programming career as a graduate student at Columbia in mid 90’s, tinkering with heat flow simulation codes in Fortran. Coding has been his passion ever since. After experimenting with web technologies from Redmond, he eventually jumped on the open source bandwagon in early 2000. The breadth and the depth of community-driven open source technologies fascinate him. Having worked with various LAMP applications—Drupal, Magento, SugarCRM, Wordpress to name some – Jin still enjoys coding from scratch and hopes to someday create his own open source platform.
