Grant Bresler is a Managing Partner and the Executive Creative Director at theMechanism - Durban, where he oversees all work produced for clients in South Africa. With eight years experience in both print and digital design, Grant has an inextinguishable passion for visual communication.

While reading for his degree in Journalism and History at Rhodes University, Grant specialised in visual communication design. Following graduation in 2005, Grant worked in a number of government sponsored heritage development projects that were well received by both the museums and the participating Xhosa traditional leaders—the work was also incorporated into a traveling exhibit.

Grant thrives on variety in his work and has explored a wide range of media—from newspaper layout and packaging design to video production and editing—but has a particular interest in the Web, a medium he knows to have unique potential for continued mixed-media communication that makes it a singularly expressive medium.
