GianPiero is a Managing Partner and the Executive Technical Director at theMechanism – Durban, where he leads the development of all Adobe Flash and Adobe Integrated Runtime (AIR) applications for clients throughout Africa, Europe, the Middle East and North America.
In addition to bringing more than seven years experience and complete fluency in ActionScript 1.0/3.0, GianPiero also has more than five years experience with system architecture, relational database design, Microsoft SQL Server 2000/2005, ASP.net Frameworks 1.1/2.0, VB.NET and C# scripting.
A dual-national (Italian and South African), GianPiero graduated with an honours degree in Journalism & Media Studies from Rhodes University in 2005, where he specialised in New Media Development with a focus on Flash. Following graduation, GianPiero earned his MCSD.net certification.
When not in the office, GianPiero indulges his keen interests in music, cinema and politics.
